So as you’ve probably noticed my domain (dmpmusic.com) in which Ive owned for a span of the last 8 yrs almost has suddenly evaporated. This is thanks to Yahoo Small Business (in who I’d highly recommend “not doing business with” unless you like not being notified of sudden rate hikes consecutively each year amongst receiving extremely shitty customer service)…

In short, after finding out that I was paying upward to 4x what I had originally paid for my domain when I had originally signed up, I decided to let customer service know that it was unacceptable to do such a thing without notifying their customers. In response to my complaint they decided to act like complete dooshbags and deny any such claims. Additionally, they were extremely rude on the phone and claimed I had a freeze on access to my account due to lack of previous payments (which by the way was total bullshit since I can prove the charges with my credit card bills each year) – so as a result, I decided to threaten to close my account if they didn’t reduce my rate and refund the several years of overcharging me without my knowledge. They failed to comply so I went forth with closing my account and as a result lost my domain in the process since I was unable to access my control panel in order to transfer to a more reliable, less shitty host. So yeah…FUCK YAHOO!

Side Note: Still trying to replace all the missing content from the last site since it was all fried when I lost the domain…should have it all back up relatively soon.
